Dear Colleague,
I have been under the tutelage of Diane Henderson for the past year. I am writing to tell you about my experience of being a student in her long distance learning classes, as well as having her as my coach.
I have been working as a Social Worker in solo practice in Delaware for 15 years. The past five years have seen a marked increase of involvement with managed care companies. You may know that Delaware is the most impacted state in the country, with over 66% of residents under managed care contracts. This has had devastating effects on my workload, earnings and, most regrettably my confidence as a entrepreneur who champions people's causes. I have found Diane to be extremely helpful in assisting my move away
from managed care work and impoverishment.
The "Turning Social Work Skills Into Corporate Training Skills" telephone class was the jump-start I needed to do something about my situation. I had thought about a multitude of escapes and procrastinated on taking any grounded action for over two years. Diane has challenged and supported me to take steps to expand my career into training and consulting. In less than a year I have matched my last year's clinical income with training revenues. Most importantly, I now feel that I am adding to people's lives and at the same time I have my integrity in tact. I enjoy what I am doing and receive helpful, creative and useful ideas for engagements from my coaching sessions with Diane.
Ms. Henderson presents methodically and strategically, gently pushing the participant into action. I have benefited financially, professionally and personally from my classes with Diane. I can unreservedly recommend Diane as a superb teach, coach and mentor.
Sincerely,
Bill Maloney, LCSW
Dear Diane:
Just a personal note to let you know that it has been not only a pleasure, but an honor to work with you for the past six months. You have enabled me to take great strides in taking better care of myself which is allowing me to take better care of my business!
You have such a special way of posing questions and offering solutions for the personally imposed pitfalls I have allowed myself to take over the years. Your methods for breaking bad habits are most effective, but best of all is the "gentle push" you give me (and the sense of humor with which you deliver it) each Monday morning that enables me to begin my week on the right track!
Thank you for everything. I would recommend you to anyone who asked!
Warm regards,
Kim Hurley Blackard
